During clinical trials we began with the Traditional Chinese method of determining meridian location and acu-points for stimulation for skin regeneration. This system of measurement using anatomical measurement is called Tsun. in TCM. Tsun dates back to the Han Dynasty when the Chinese surgeon, Hua Tuo, developed the process of using one “body inch” "tsun" to locate acupuncture points.
The photo on the right shows how we use the width of a joint of the patient's own finger to help locate the acu-points accurately. Our clinical trials concluded that we are able to successfully stimulate an acupuncture point using a specific gauss and polarity compatible with skin Ph.
In the beginning there was an idea. The idea was to find a way for people to use a kit at home to safely activate Qi stimulation for facial rejuvenation.
I had no idea that the journey would be so long and complex. We knew that cellular regeneration is dependant upon high cellular energy production and that Qi activation was the key. Clinical trials using different methods of stimulation of acupuncture points was not the only consideration. It quickly became obvious that the magnetic field and acu-points were integral to the results and that some education about the concept of Qi was important so that people understood what they were doing with this product.
Then there were the extensive trials to research the effects of a static magnetic field on skin microcirculation. This meant that the gauss (power) and polarity (strength) of magnetic stimulation needed to be correct to be compatible with skin pH. Too little would deliver poor results and too much would cause skin to erupt. Successful clinical trials involving many women of different ages and skin types allowed us to determine the strength, polarity, frequency and positioning for Qi driven skin rejuvenation.
The next question was which points to use as the face has so many. I must admit this was the easiest hurdle because I had my husband’s (Dr Peter Pedersen) best face lift acu-points that he had used for many years. We found the magic 12 and the kit was born. That was about seven years ago and now we are able to manufacture more kits and treatments based on our extensive ‘real people’ results.
Our Qi beauty kits contain information about Qi stimulation, the origin of Qi, how it works, how to use it and our contact details so that we can educate, supply and offer superior customer service. If after looking at our results you require more information I am only too happy to assist.
