Qi beauty Origins

In 2003 Kathy’s day-to-day was spent in her Natural Therapies practice on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. Her team at the time consisted of 13 practitioners including Peter, her Husband, a Doctor of Osteopathy. The clinic has always been a welcoming sanctuary of what was still considered fringe modalities; Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Remedial Massage, and Reiki.

Kathy’s interest in the mind-body relationship directed her down the path of epic-genetics, neuroplasticity, quantum mechanics and specifically how energy influences ageing.

“In the early 2000s when I first began thinking about what would become Qi beauty my goal was to give women the tools and control to age confidently.  Today, I would say Qi beauty does that, it gives all people the methodology to age the way they choose and to reconnect with their true self.

“It was at the same time I saw a crisis_ there was a rapid deterioration in the relationship with self. The Hollywood ‘Botox face’ was becoming normalised in society and the conversation in magazines about how we should look had nothing to do with health… ‘Why should we sacrifice our health for the way we look?’ There had to be another way.”

Qi beauty began with the Home Kit and the vision to give women the power to control the way they feel about themselves as they age. An alternative to needles and an answer to ageing with health.

In 2006 Qi beauty was featured on A Current Affair, a national news program which saw the 3 month Home Kit sell out overnight. This gave Kathy the momentum and confidence to pursue her goal - to put The Home Kit on a shelf in every woman’s bathroom.

In Qi beauty’s infancy Kathy needed to put a hold on development. For 3 years it was all about the Home Kit. Behind the scenes Kathy was planning something extraordinary that would change the way the aesthetics industry viewed skin entirely.

In 2009 Kathy launched the Qi beauty treatment and introduced skin in 4D. Treating skin in a quantum view eliminated the need for trauma and skipped straight to repair by reconnecting energy or signalling for skin health.

“There is a Newtonian view of skin; a 3D model by which every treatment,  professional and home remedy is designed. Qi beauty is quantum. The Qi beauty method treats skin in 4D to change the way skin behaves.
